AI platform SixSense.ai raises $2.6 mn in Series A funding

SixSense, a Singapore-based AI-powered industrial visual inspection platform for smarter manufacturing, secured $2.6 million in Series A funding.

Tin Men Capital led the round, a Singapore-based venture capital firm focused on B2B tech startups in South-East Asia.

Founded by IIT and NIT alumni Akanksha Jagwani and Avni Agrawal, deals in creating no-code deep space AI models for computer vision platforms.  According to the company, these models will help industries and manufacturers efficiently improve factory product manual inspection.

With this funding, SixSense will scale its team across further research and development, customer success, and sales.

Commenting on the funding Tin Men Capital Co-Founder Murli Ravi said, “We have known the SixSense.ai team since their early days and their ability to serve one of the world’s most stringent quality-focused industries proved to us that they are one of the rare few who can achieve this feat. It was easy for us to commit to the team.”

Akanksha Jagwani, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of SixSense.ai, said, “From my previous work experience as an engineer in manufacturing environments, I have a deep desire to solve the problems our customers face daily. Hence, My co-founder Avni and I wanted to partner with a Series A investor (Tin Men) who identifies with our vision and has the experience to support us in our next stage of growth.
