Vahak acquires Instalogist, a truck booking app

Instalogist, a truck booking app and cargo marketplace platform for long-haul transportation, has been acquired by Bengaluru-based Vahak, a transport community business, for an undisclosed sum.

According to Vahak, the acquisition will allow them to grow faster and expand their network, thus enhancing their ability to support the Indian road transportation industry. Through its Truck-&-Load Marketplace platform, Bengaluru-based Instalogic connects load and fleet suppliers for local and long-distance shipments. The company was founded in 2020.

Instalogist users will have access to Vahak’s community of more than 500,000 monthly active users and two million registered companies, as well as its value-added services like vehicle and cargo insurance, GPS, safe and secure payments, and online medical consultations, once the transaction is expected to be finalised by the end of the month.

Users will also have access to Vahak’s cutting-edge marketplace, powered by AI and ML, which matches loads with lorries based on tonnage and vehicle requirements, route and delivery schedules, and effective return load booking.

Commenting on the development, Pramod Prakash, CEO & Co-founder of Instalogist, said, “Joining forces with Vahak is a natural next step for us. We are excited to collaborate with like-minded technopreneurs who are willing to transform the Indian logistics sector with focused technologies for load owners and the supply-side trucking community.”
