Gushwork.ai, a platform that combines AI technology with a remote workforce, has successfully raised $2.1 million in a pre-seed funding round. This funding was led by Lightspeed Ventures, with participation from other investors like B Capital, Sparrow Capital, Seaborne Capital, and Beenext.
The startup, based in New York and founded by Nayrhit Bhattacharya (from IIT Kharagpur) and Adithya Venkatesh (from IIT Bombay), aims to use the funds to fuel its growth and develop new features while maintaining an efficient and flexible core team.
Gushwork.ai offers a unique solution for businesses, providing them with an AI-powered marketplace of skilled human workers who can handle complex operational tasks. By outsourcing these tasks to Gushwork.ai, enterprises can focus on their strategic objectives, leaving routine operations in capable hands.
Currently, Gushwork.ai focuses mainly on sales and marketing operations. These include tasks like lead prospecting, email marketing, managing advertisements, engaging with leads on social media, moderating and marketing webinars, handling social media for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), responding to inbound leads, setting up CRM systems, scraping social media analytics data, conducting prospect outreach, and managing ad campaigns, among others. As the platform evolves, Gushwork.ai plans to expand into more specialized roles in the future.
