The company is preparing to expand into both markets within the year, marking its first major international growth push.
Building Infrastructure for the Spatial Internet
Founded by Vinay Agastya, Ctruh is developing foundational technology for the spatial internet, combining artificial intelligence, 3D environments, and extended reality (XR).
The company aims to simplify access to immersive digital experiences, enabling businesses of all sizes to adopt advanced technologies without complex infrastructure.
Speaking on the development, Agastya said:
“Our focus has always been to simplify technology for businesses by making advanced solutions more accessible. We are building an infrastructure for the upcoming generation of digital experiences, where our goal is to create spatial experiences for every business, regardless of size and scale. This funding will accelerate our ability to do exactly that.”
Product Innovation: AI-Powered XR Commerce Studio
Ctruh is also building vertical, industry-specific applications.
Its first product, Commverse Studio, is positioned as an AI-powered unified XR commerce platform that allows brands to create immersive 3D experiences in under 30 minutes.
This enables businesses to deploy interactive digital environments without requiring specialised technical expertise.
Market Trends Driving Growth
The spatial computing and XR ecosystem is witnessing rapid growth:
- Augmented reality (AR)-enabled products can drive up to 94% higher conversion rates
- Around 80% of retailers are expected to adopt AR technologies by 2026
- XR hardware demand is projected to rebound strongly, driven by devices such as Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest, Samsung Moohan, and XREAL smart glasses
These trends indicate growing demand for platforms that can simplify and scale immersive experiences.
Investor Perspective
Commenting on the investment, Vinay Bansal said:
“While the AI space continues to get increasingly crowded, Ctruh is cutting through the noise with a strong technical differentiation. What stands out is how they are combining AI with 3D and XR to scale immersive content creation, making these experiences not just cutting-edge, but usable and scalable for everyday business applications.”
Recognition and Industry Presence
Ctruh has gained early recognition in the startup ecosystem:
- Featured on Shark Tank India Season 5
- Winner of the ELEVATE 2025 programme by the Government of Karnataka
- Recipient of the Aegis Graham Bell Award 2025 for innovation in immersive experience
Conclusion
With its focus on combining AI, 3D, and XR technologies, Ctruh is positioning itself as a key player in the emerging spatial internet ecosystem.
As demand for immersive digital experiences grows, the company’s ability to simplify complex technologies and deliver scalable solutions could play a critical role in shaping the next generation of digital infrastructure.
