6 October 2026 –Singapore-based cybersecurity value-added distributor ABP Securite has entered the Indian market, establishing Bengaluru as its initial operational base as it looks to build a channel-led cybersecurity distribution ecosystem across the country.
Operating under ABP Group, the company plans to work with Tier 1, Tier 2 and global system integrator (GSI) partners as part of a phased India expansion. Bengaluru will serve as the starting point, with the company planning to extend its presence into other major commercial hubs over time.
The India launch forms part of ABP Group’s broader strategy to expand its international footprint beyond Asia.
“India is just the beginning,” said Sun Yi, CEO, ABP Group.
According to the company, its wider objective is to strengthen its presence across key global markets and develop ABP Group into a global business.
ABP Securite to Build India Presence Through Channel Partners
Rather than relying primarily on a direct sales model, ABP Securite plans to use India’s established technology channel ecosystem to reach customers.
Its initial strategy will focus on building relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 channel partners, along with GSIs that serve large and complex technology environments.
The company said its approach goes beyond establishing a sales presence in the country. It intends to invest capital and technical resources into local distribution capabilities, technical support and channel enablement.
The objective is to equip partners with the capabilities required to take ABP Securite’s cybersecurity portfolio across different customer segments and geographies.
Enterprise, BFSI and Government Among Priority Segments
ABP Securite will initially target a broad range of customers in India, including enterprise and mid-market organisations, banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), government and public-sector organisations, as well as global capability centres (GCCs).
These sectors operate complex and data-intensive environments, creating demand for cybersecurity technologies focused on infrastructure protection, threat detection and risk mitigation.
BFSI and government organisations, in particular, require strong security and resilience capabilities because of the sensitive data and critical infrastructure involved.
GCCs are another important target segment as multinational companies continue to expand technology, engineering and security operations in India.
Bengaluru to Anchor India’s Expansion
Bengaluru has been selected as ABP Securite’s initial operating base in India.
The city will support the company’s local distribution activities while providing a foundation for technical support, partner engagement and channel development.
ABP Securite plans to expand into additional commercial hubs in phases. However, the company has not yet disclosed the cities it intends to enter next or a specific timeline for the wider rollout.
The Bengaluru operation will therefore form the foundation for the company’s planned multi-city presence.
Focus on Technical Enablement
A significant part of ABP Securite’s India strategy is its emphasis on technical capabilities and partner enablement.
The company says it will strengthen its local technical support infrastructure and provide partners with the resources needed to deploy and take its cybersecurity portfolio to customers.
Its portfolio covers cybersecurity technologies addressing areas such as infrastructure protection, threat detection and risk mitigation for enterprise networks.
ABP Securite has not disclosed specific cybersecurity vendors or products associated with its India launch.
India Becomes Part of ABP Group’s Global Expansion
The India entry gives ABP Securite a new market for its cybersecurity distribution business while also supporting ABP Group’s broader international expansion strategy.
With Bengaluru as its initial base, the company’s immediate focus will be on developing its partner ecosystem, strengthening technical support and expanding its distribution capabilities.
The planned move into additional Indian cities will follow in phases.
For ABP Securite, India is consequently positioned as both a growth market for cybersecurity distribution and a strategic base for its expansion beyond Asia.
