Peeko Raises $7 Million Series A to Expand Babycare Quick Commerce Across Bengaluru

Bengaluru, India: Bengaluru-based babycare quick-commerce startup Peeko has raised $7 million (approximately ₹67.4 crore) in a Series A funding round as it looks to expand its rapid-delivery model and strengthen its presence in the Indian babycare market.

The round was led by Chiratae Ventures, with participation from existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners and a group of angel investors.

The latest investment takes Peeko’s total funding raised to approximately ₹95 crore, including a ₹28 crore round raised last year.

Peeko Plans Bengaluru Expansion

Peeko will use the fresh capital to expand its operations across Bengaluru, improve its product assortment, strengthen its technology infrastructure and build out its team.

The startup currently operates three dark stores in Bengaluru and serves around 55% of the city’s pincodes. It plans to add three more dark stores by the end of 2026, with the broader objective of achieving city-wide coverage.

The company expects its expanded dark-store network to allow it to reach more families seeking fast access to babycare and parenting products.

30,000 Babycare Products Available

Peeko operates a quick-commerce platform focused specifically on babycare products. Its current catalogue includes approximately 30,000 SKUs from more than 100 Indian and international brands.

Its product portfolio includes brands such as Dr. Brown’s, Cetaphil, Sebamed, Mothercare and Pantaloons.

By focusing exclusively on babycare, Peeko is positioning itself differently from general-purpose quick-commerce platforms that offer baby products as one category among thousands of other products.

Startup Founded by Former Leap Finance and OYO Executives

Peeko was founded by Chetan Sharma and Abhijit Gairola, both former executives at Leap Finance, along with Vivek Khetan, who previously worked at OYO.

The founders are building the company around the growing demand for convenience-led shopping among parents, particularly for products that families may need urgently.

The quick-commerce model allows customers to order babycare products through a digital platform and receive them rapidly from nearby dark stores.

Peeko Targets New Indian Cities by 2027

The company is currently focused on strengthening its Bengaluru operations before expanding geographically.

After increasing its city-wide coverage, Peeko plans to enter other Indian cities by early 2027.

The expansion will give the startup an opportunity to test its specialised babycare quick-commerce model in additional urban markets and build a larger national customer base.

Funding to Drive Technology and Product Expansion

Alongside its dark-store expansion, Peeko plans to invest in technology and improve the breadth of products available through its platform.

The funding will also support hiring as the company builds the operational and technology teams required for its next stage of growth.

The latest Series A round highlights growing investor interest in specialised quick-commerce models that focus on specific consumer categories rather than competing solely through broad product selection.

With additional capital and a larger physical delivery network planned, Peeko’s next phase will focus on increasing its Bengaluru coverage and preparing for expansion into other Indian markets.
