Social media platform Koo raises $10 Mn funding from over 20 Investors

Koo, a social media platform, has raised more than $10 million in two rounds of funding from investors such as Ashneer Grover Caspier Venture Partners, Ravi Modi Family Trust, and others.

Koo is a less restrictive social media microblogging platform. It was launched in March 2020 by the co-founders of vocal (Aprameya Radhakrishna and Mayank Bidawatk). It was created to serve as India’s social media platform.

The business allocated 3,389 Series B2 CCPS for INR 28 Cr to seven investors in January, including Bharatpe’s Ashneer Grover, FBC Venture Partners, Yulubike’s Hemant Gupta, and Adventz Finance Private Limited.

Koo is used by around 15 million people. The company previously secured $30 million in a Series B investment led by Tiger Global and including Accel Partners, Blume Ventures, and Mirae Assets and others..
