At Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) schools across the country, Samsung has launched its new flagship global citizenship programme, ‘Samsung Smart School.’
The Samsung Corporate Social Responsibility Program, which is part of Samsung’s ‘Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People’ vision, aims to develop tomorrow’s leaders by providing less-privileged students in India with access to the benefits of digital education and Samsung’s own transformative innovations.

At its initial year, the programme is being tested in ten JNV schools.

In Varanasi, Gwalior, Raipur, Udaipur, Kangra, Sambalpur, Faridabad, Dehradun, Patna, and Dhanbad, Samsung Smart Schools have been established in JNV schools.
Many of these schools are found in rural areas surrounding major cities.
