D2C milk delivery startup Country Delight raises $108M in Series D Funding

Country Delight, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) milk and grocery delivery service, raised $108 million in a Series D fundraising round led by Nicholas Cator’s Venturi Partners and Temasek on Wednesday.

SWC Global and Trifecta Capital joined the round, as well as returning investors IIFL Asset Management, Elevation Capital, Orios Venture Partners, and Matrix Partners. Country Delight’s financial advisor for the transaction was Avendus Capital.

The purchase brings the Gurugram-based startup’s total equity capital raised to $147 million. It raised $25 million in a Series C financing in November 2020.

Country Delight, founded in 2013 by Chakradhar Gade and Nitin Kaushal, provides basics such as dairy, fruits, veggies, and bread within 24 to 36 hours of sourcing.
