Instant EMI platform ShopSe raises $6.1M In Series A funding

BEENEXT, Chiratae Ventures, and White Venture Capital were among the investors who contributed $6.1 million to ShopSe, a financial platform that offers quick EMI. The current funding comes after a $5.5 million seed round in April 2021.

Pallav Jain, Abhishek Nimonkar, and Yagnesh Desai, all former PayU employees, started ShopSe in 2020. By working with retailers and lenders and offering quick credit at the moment of purchase, it provides a pay-later marketplace.

ShopSe has 35,000 stores as partners thanks to its partnerships with lenders such as HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank, and IIFL. It now boasts more than 120 brand partners, including Voltas, Asus, Whirlpool, Bluestar, Daikin, and Realme, and 500 locations.
