Cold Chain Solutions Provider New Leaf Raises INR 6.15 Cr in Funding

The Founder of Asana, Dustin Moskovitz, a US-based entrepreneur-turned-investor, provided INR 6.15 Crore in equity capital to New Leaf Dynamic Technologies, a provider of cold chain solutions, for its Pre-Series A Round.

Co-founded by Akash Agarwal, New Leaf’s refrigeration technology utilizes biomass and farm waste to facilitate the increase of income for micro-enterprises by prolonging the shelf life of perishable produce.

Together with Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, and Chris Hughes, Dustin Moskovitz co-founded Facebook (now Meta). He quit Facebook in 2008 to launch Asana alongside Justin Rosenstein.

Additionally, Social Alpha and Indigram Labs Foundation provided initial investment and incubator support to New Leaf Technologies. Along with a grant of $100,000 and technical support from Water Energy for Food (WE4F) South and Southeast Asia, they have also previously received grants totaling USD 50,000 from Villgro, CEEW, and Ikea Foundation.
