Dil Foods, a Bengaluru-based virtual restaurant operator, has successfully raised $2Mn in a Pre-Series A funding round. The brand’s mission is to collaborate with small to medium independent food businesses and restaurants to create a profitable brand that disrupts the meal market using an innovative asset-light model for food delivery, driving efficiency and maximizing profitability.
The funding round was led by V3 Ventures and Mount Judi Ventures, with prominent investors Revant Bhate (former Rebel and founder of Mosaic Wellness) and Arjun Vaidya (Founder of Dr. Vaidyas) also participating. Their expertise will be instrumental in strengthening Dil Foods’ position in the virtual restaurant operators’ sector.
Dil Foods aims to diversify its brand portfolio and offer customers a wide range of authentic cuisines. The recently secured funding will support the company’s expansion into new cities and empower partner restaurants to thrive. Strategic investments will be made in data analytics and supply chain optimization to enhance operations and drive efficiency.
