Zave Raises ₹4.7 Crore to Scale AI Shopping Assistant, Strengthen Product and Platform Capabilities

Bengaluru: AI-powered shopping assistant startup Zave has secured ₹4.7 crore in a bridge funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), with participation from Mucker Capital. The fresh capital will help the startup enhance its artificial intelligence capabilities, strengthen platform infrastructure, and accelerate product development as it prepares for its next phase of growth.

The funding comes at a time when AI is rapidly transforming the online shopping experience, enabling consumers to discover products, compare prices, and make smarter purchasing decisions with greater speed and convenience.

Funding to Accelerate AI Innovation

According to the company, the newly raised capital will primarily be used to improve its AI-powered shopping platform, increase infrastructure scalability, and strengthen the recommendation engine that powers its product discovery experience.

Zave also plans to expand its engineering capabilities to support its reported 50% month-on-month growth, while improving platform performance as user adoption continues to rise.

Building an AI-Native Shopping Experience

Founded in late 2024 by Hiren Patel and Ravi Kumar, Zave is building an AI-native shopping assistant designed to simplify online purchasing by helping users discover products, compare prices, and identify the best deals across multiple e-commerce platforms.

Instead of requiring shoppers to browse numerous websites, Zave’s AI engine analyzes user intent in real time and recommends products, alternative options, pricing comparisons, and relevant product insights within a single interface.

The platform currently integrates with major e-commerce marketplaces, including Amazon, Flipkart, and more than 5,000 brand websites, allowing consumers to compare products across multiple retailers before making a purchase.

Strong User Growth Since Launch

Since its launch, Zave has witnessed rapid adoption among online shoppers.

According to the company, the platform has achieved:

  • More than 500,000 app installs
  • Over 50,000 daily active users
  • More than ₹15 crore in monthly transactions facilitated through its AI-powered recommendation engine

These milestones highlight growing consumer interest in AI-assisted shopping as digital commerce becomes increasingly competitive.

AI Changing the Future of Online Shopping

Artificial intelligence is emerging as one of the biggest technology trends in e-commerce.

Consumers today face millions of product choices across online marketplaces, making it increasingly difficult to compare prices, features, reviews, and discounts efficiently. AI-powered shopping assistants aim to solve this challenge by delivering personalized recommendations based on user preferences, purchase intent, and real-time pricing data.

Platforms like Zave are helping shoppers reduce search time while improving buying decisions through intelligent product discovery.

Expanding Beyond India

Looking ahead, Zave plans to evolve into a global AI shopping companion.

The company aims to simplify product discovery and purchasing decisions for consumers worldwide by continuously improving its recommendation algorithms and expanding integrations with additional e-commerce platforms and brands.

As AI becomes more deeply integrated into digital commerce, startups like Zave are positioning themselves to play an important role in shaping the future of online shopping.

With fresh funding, strong user growth, and an AI-first product strategy, Zave is looking to strengthen its position in the rapidly evolving AI commerce ecosystem while expanding its reach across domestic and international markets.
