BENGALURU, September 2, 2026: DXC Technology has appointed Arun Melkote as Global Head of Delivery for Consulting & Engineering Services (CES), strengthening its leadership team as the company expands its focus on AI-native software engineering, application modernization and global delivery.
Melkote will report to Ramnath Venkataraman, President of Consulting & Engineering Services at DXC Technology, and will oversee the company’s global CES delivery organization. His responsibilities will include improving delivery excellence, operational performance and customer outcomes across DXC’s worldwide operations.
Arun Melkote to Lead DXC’s Global CES Delivery
In his new role, Melkote will oversee the full CES delivery portfolio, including the expansion of Global Capability Center (GCC) offerings for enterprise customers and DXC’s Custom Applications service line.
As DXC’s most senior executive in India, Melkote will also serve as the company’s principal leader in the Indian market. He will represent DXC across its relationships with customers, partners, industry stakeholders and employees.
A major part of his mandate will be connecting DXC’s global delivery capabilities with its broader growth and innovation strategy. This includes accelerating AI-native software engineering and application modernization while working with DXC’s partner, innovation and AI teams, including LabX, to develop new technology capabilities.
“Customers want partners who can move from AI ambition to execution with speed, certainty and scale,” Venkataraman said. He added that as enterprises move from AI pilots toward broader transformation programs, global delivery has become an increasingly important differentiator.
According to DXC, Melkote’s appointment is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to deliver application modernization, AI-native engineering and GCC solutions at scale.
Nearly Three Decades of Technology Leadership
Melkote brings nearly 30 years of experience in technology and business leadership to DXC Technology.
Before joining DXC, he served as CEO of Quinnox. He previously held senior leadership positions at Wipro, where he was involved in building and scaling global delivery organizations and driving digital transformation and customer-focused growth initiatives.
His experience and relationships across the technology industry are expected to support DXC’s growth strategy in India and internationally.
Commenting on his appointment, Melkote said customers increasingly want technology partners capable of combining engineering expertise, AI capabilities and global delivery to take transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.
He also highlighted DXC’s engineering and innovation capabilities in Bengaluru and across India as an important foundation for the company’s future CES growth.

Alongside Melkote’s appointment, DXC has also elevated Kartik Iyer, formerly CVC Director of Operations and Global CES Resource Management.
Iyer will lead DXC’s Customer Value Centers (CVCs), Workforce Transformation and Strategic Programs for CES.
His responsibilities will include improving workforce agility, expanding critical capabilities and helping CES scale its talent base to meet growing demand from customers globally.
The leadership changes reflect DXC Technology’s broader effort to strengthen its consulting and engineering organization while positioning global delivery, AI and software engineering as key components of its growth strategy.
